WILSON

Wilson is located at the foot of the 8,431-foot Teton Pass about 7 miles west of Jackson and was named in honor of Nick Wilson, one of the state's first Pony Express couriers.

Wilson is a quaint, small town but has all of the basic amenities - you can shop for groceries, fill up on gas, enjoy a meal at James Beard award winning Nora’s Fish Creek Inn, and kick back at The Stagecoach, the neighborhood pub. For lodging options and other services, you should check nearby towns Teton Village or Jackson. When driving from Jackson to Wilson, always look out for moose near Fish Creek and the Snake River, when driving over the bridge in town!
